First attempt to take a walk outside didn't end up quite as planned — still somewhat cold out there 😸
@futzle I took a shortcut and just downloaded the Unicode 14 compliant version of Segoe UI Emoji font that someone extracted from a release preview build of Windows 🤭
And… They're good! I use them on my Linux computers too! And an my phone!
It's my favourite emoji font TBH

I think I remember this K8s ad, it was there since around version 16, but it was possible to disable it.

@n8chz@queer.party @foo I think I still have a notepad somewhere with carbon sheets in between normal paper ones, so when you write something down, you have a copy straight away 😄
I was too young to do any publications, but I was born in USSR, my mom worked at a research institute and she had plenty of these carbon sheets, I think I used them for some school stuff, it was quite handy.

Unlike this one, "news" are made up by real people and submitted through the website for the editors to publish. Soloviev, the top propagandist, cited them as source at least a couple of times😆
