@james I think you can remove it from /etc/motd and forget about all that.

@m0xee The only problem is that /etc/motd is empty. So I dunno how to empty it now. I think Ubuntu wants to just advertise products in your face.

@james Maybe they have put this into your .profile or /etc/profile 🤔
I think I remember this K8s ad, it was there since around version 16, but it was possible to disable it.
