@thor It's sad to realize that I'm usually the person who doesn't let others do their stuff. On my last job I've outdone myself… No, I WAS myself busy most of the time, but when I had spare time, I wasn't doing something like reading the news, I was acting like Captain Murphy from Sealab 2021 — I just walked around the office looking for someone to interact with 😅
And they had legitimate reasons to respond. And I didn't even realize that at the time! I should never act like this.

Original post was nothing like "Windows is bad, use free software!!!", it just pointed out that using derogatory term is wrong. And you are like "No, your priorities are wrong!".

I don't know, maybe there is some backstory to this, but thread looks like the perfect example of what you say is wrong.
Maybe those who preach free software are annoying, but original post sounds reasonable.

@Jessica Reactionary stuff like abortion bans (oversimplified, but let's call it that) happens when society loses control of the state. Surveillance facilitates that and free software helps fight surveillance to some extent. So it's all connected. In a way.
But yes, fanaticism rarely helps the cause. Any fanaticism and any cause really.

@inhosin Я тоже! И с ним обычно сложнее всего: все либо пытаются сделать что-то сильно оригинальное, но такого пива много не выпить — либо наоборот, крайне скучное. Выходит, бывает проще купить в магазине немецкую массовую марку и, по крайней мере, получить то, что ожидаешь.
Такое как на фото я не пробовал, надо будет 😋
