@kravietz FFS, is this real? Not that I ever liked him, but this is just pathetic 😩
Didn't I already see this "time to give peace a chance" somewhere? Word for word… I think some time in 2022, right when Russia's military advance stalled 🤔
@thatguyoverthere
Cats are experts at letting you know they are hungry 😹
Mine even started drinking tea from my cup once to show me they have run out of drinking water.
@romin
The project is no longer maintained? 😏
@IAMAL_PHARIUS
Aw lawdy, here they come 😹

Luckily they don't seem to care about Fedi yet — and yet I'm usually scared shitless when someone speaking Russian requests a follow 😱
Technically some bored cop could find something in the depths on my extensive post history — if he's looking for bonus and desperate enough.
@bartholin @kaia
Funny thing is this was when it was milder than it is now — they at least needed swastika or something, even if image was portraying Nazism in negative light. Loosely worded laws enable that.
But now they don't even have to go such lengths, there are plenty of new laws that cover literally everything: don't like the man who returned from the war attacking a teenage girl — your discrediting the army and that's against the law 🤦
@kaia @bartholin
In Russia this is happening all the time, except it's usually not officials of some sort, but mere mortals. On one occasion a woman, she was a medical nurse I think, was persecuted to having a meme in her non-public album on VKontakte 🤪

This happening in modern-day Berlin is somewhat new though.

> gRPC
> but GOOGLE SCALE
My only personal interaction with gRPC was figuring out why Proton Bridge and ProtonVPN didn't work on my Windows box. Turned out that gRPC, unlike everything in Go standard library, doesn't make localhost a special case, so when you have HTTP(S)_PROXY env var set, GUI suddenly can't connect to a service running on the same machine. Now I think I have an idea why: who cares about such puny shit as proxies and localhost when you're on GOOGLE SCALE 😂
@gabriel
I'm using old ThinkPad T40 as a wireless adapter for my PowerMac G5 if that would make you feel any better 🤭
I'm also using a phone as a VPN box 🤪
@kirby @xenia
Yep, and that would be it, if original poster doesn't see comments, it means they don't exist. You can't prevent people from discussing things, you can only hinder it in some way. Someone can always post the link to the post and others can comment under that — as it often happens with posts on other social media 🤷

Actually, yeah, I remember being glad that Blurays never took off for exact this reasons. Later digital download becoming the main channel os distribution was holding this off, but now that Internet access is cheap, fast and common, we have what we have 😫
@monsterislandcolonizer
They should've released it on 80 DVDs 😅
@slashdot
T2 always looked interesting to such an avid appreciator of marginal architectures as me, but all of my computers work so well with Void at the moment, that I'm not even sure when I would be up to checking it out.

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
