@gemlog As for the resolution — you're right of course, it doesn't matter that much. I'm perfectly fine with 720p if the video is encoded properly. It's just that this huge ass TV is relatively new and I still can't get used to it and somehow attempt to justify it being 4k.
Not that I really need it, I have two 30" Apple Cinema displays — they are old, but are still considered very good.
So… 4K is not a requirement for me, I do it rather out of curiosity when the opportunity arises 🤷

Ha-ha-ha! Same here, it often takes 5-6 sittings to finish watching a movie I might even like in the end. I have once fallen asleep while watching what I consider one of my all time favourite movies right in the movie theater, and its director was there with us (a rare event, he's French and not a mainstream name) — I even ended up snoring loudly, good thing I went with a girl who woke me up to avoid further embarassment.
I think I've told you this story before, didn't I? 😂
