Anton Dolin, famous Russian movie critic whose tastes usually align with mine has mentioned it (among other ones) on his live stream before the New Year and I've been waiting for it (among other ones) ever since.
Poor Things is another one on my list — but looks like it's still up in the movies, to I have to wait a little longer for this one.

I'm patiently waiting for 4k version on YTS… To watch on my huge-ass TV 😅
And the movie… Yep, according to the reviews it's good — the main theme is about stereotypes white people have about black people and how a well educated black man gets fed up disproving them and ends up exploiting them instead.
But it has other subplots so it should be deeper than just satire.
I got let go of my current job; our management was suffering dysfunction.

I am looking for another.
I am a senior software engineer, mostly backend, with a decade and a half of experience. I know Go, Python, C, C++, and Rust. I have some Docker and Terraform experience. I have low-level Linux and BSD internals knowledge as well. I have other knowledge too, like OpenLDAP, Xen, KVM, all sorts of things. I can pick up just about anything.
My resume is here: https://elizafox.space/stuff/Resume.pdf

> you just have to type like one line of code every 90 days
Calling certbot from a corn job has never failed me, it failed to run once in a year and only because I was stupid and the system was overtaxed. I only got an email warning that time, the next week it ran fine and the only cert that had been expiring was renewed 🤷

Get yourself Go Programming Language book already: http://www.gopl.io/
It's really good, I can guarantee it! You will finish it in days, a week maybe if you do all the problems/exercises and those are really entertaining, not boring shit you usually see in other books, like reimplementing standard UNIX utilities in Go or plotting a 3D graph by writing data to an SVG file.

My Mac Pro is a 2008 model, but it has two 3,2 GHz quad-code Xeon CPUs and 28 gigs of RAM, what's not to like about this machine? 😆
All my computers are a decade or more old, some considerably older — all still work great, even my Pentium-M ThinkPads that are almost two decades old are still good for some tasks. And with TUI client like tut even hanging out on Fedi isn't a problem — it uses feh to open images!

Ну это ж разве извращение? Предмет первой необходимости!
У меня есть ещё самодельный web-пульт для управления телевизором на питоне — вот где полёт мысли ✈🤪

Gentoo's bugtracker is still a great place to look for patches in case building something is broken, especially on the more obscure architectures like PowerPC, but the distro itself went downhill long ago. I've been a Gentoo user for over a decade, but I won't advise it even to my sworn enemy today. I'm using Void now. Never had an opportunity to check out Arch.

I'm a little worried for the kitty — I'm afraid it might start writing software… in Rust 😂
@JedDrudge
Pretty weird-looking skewrl I must say 😄

Самое удивительное — нет. Это gnome-feeds или gfeeds. В принципе, сам компонент WebKit2GTK неслабо жрёт, но это приложение, судя по всему, его ещё и не очень разумно использует 😅

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
