One-liners were precious enough, but these Stable Diffusion generated pictures and news articles made up by ChapGPT are pure gold on their own.
Not too different from real Russian news in terms of being grotesque, except, maybe, being less grim😅
@neural_meduza

Alternative reality where Eyedea didn't die of accidental overdose. And that had enough impact for Chris Cornell to not kill himself, and that, in turn, made Chester not kill himself. So war never happened. Isn't that how entropy works?
I wonder what music he'd be into if he lived today. Well, yeah, some lyrics do sound immature, but this man didn't even live long enough to be in hist thirties. A perfect example of very talented and deeply troubled mind.

@theorytoe Like when they print money at night time? With some nice music playing in the background. So inflation can happen the next day? 🤔

@geordie People get tested. Even the ones who don't care have to do it e.g. to leave the country or be operated on — if you have no antibodies, then you are probably among the few who never got infected 🤷
@larsmb

@EricZhang456 Isn't DaVinci Resolve more of a color grading tool for videos? I mean, sure, you can do some editing too, but it's not the main point.
Also, you can do video editing in Blender now. What?! Yes! I never tried it myself, in fact, I've learned about it here on Fedi from @charlie_root
Looks pretty basic to me, but maybe it's just what you need.

Теперь ещё больше огня 🤣

@thor It's a real term, check out the Wikipedia article if curious, there is one. I think my explanation was a bit misleading.

@thor Not sure if it's a serious question, I think it's a state of ambiguousness from the point of the law, when it's unclear what law should be applied if any. But of course that was just a pun on Alexander Bard's band of the same name.

@thor Their leader would also have a side-project called Legal Vacuum.

@thor They got angry at you after you pirated that Army of Lawyers CD.

@PawelK
I think it's a DRM enforcement system. I don't know how it works exactly, but most probably it encrypts the game binaries and content so it's harder to tamper with, thus the growth in size.
@chronovore

@millihertz Oh! At least that's lack of experience. Or funds.
For some reason I was thinking about ones who have proper mics, but instead of just using it set up a multimic array… just because they are too cool to go the obvious route 😅

@root And that art is boring, but at least most don't think of at as of some weird ass shit for tons of dollars and find it acceptable — because it's what AI does well 😆

@millihertz
> set up a stereo mic pair around your desk and then spend all your time hovering at one side of it
Oh God! Why would they do that? 😨

What century is this artifact from?

@dommymommy This!
In absolute most cases I don't even know what the stuff they ask about looks like. People have been asking me about Android long before I had a device running it, and even now I only have a handful of apps and I'm literally clueless what WhatsApp or Facebook can't do and what it can't 🤷

@DotardTed
For people living in poverty it's way worse, they went for alcohol that's not even intended to be consumed as beverage, like alcohol-containing lotions, so-called «фунфырики», there was a well-known case a few years ago in Siberia when over 50 people got poisoned with technical alcohol.

@DotardTed
With strong alcohol it's even more complicated — cheap imported stuff is just as bad as local, there are a few local brands of vodka that manage to have highest standards of quality, but keep the prices affordable, but they aren't well-known, not widely available, thus not popular.
@don @useless_idiot

@DotardTed
> trend of decreasing consumption of alcohol
I always found it hard to believe, they use really weird methods to count and it's a decrease in *legal* alcohol consumption. Moscow is hardly the poorest region, but even here moonshine has seen a massive resurgence.
Alcohol is either too expensive or low-quality. I'm buying cheap German beer now — it's shit, but it's still better than most local stuff and at least cans are 0,5 litre, not 0,42 or something like that.

@gemlog
Moscow riot police is doing a crackdown on bars to celebrate Putin's newly found international recognition. They make guests sing "patriotic" songs. What's ironic is that singer of one of the bands in question — Lyube, is rumoured to be a citizen of Germany, or at least was living there for years until he got expelled recently — that's an exemplar Russian patriot for you!
It's not even a proper police-enforced dictatorship, it's like a very dark parody of it 🤦
