@moffintosh
No, rasism is real, global warming is real, but these topics are often used to divert attention from more pressing problems. Besides reasons for racism are economic: black people in US most often grow up in poor neighborhoods, crime thrives there so stereotypes are often not unreasonable. Economic problems should have economic solutions, black elves in a Netflix show aren't gonna cut it, it doesn't solve shit.
@Arty24
@PawelK I won't. This opinion is very unpopular, but it's not far-fetched at all, it's exactly what it is: Palestine is the DPR/LPR of the Middle East — a pseudo-independent proxy state used by Arab states to provoke Israel so the conflict never stops. There are innocent people there, but just funneling money won't make their life less miserable and won't solve a thing.
@Vedrfolnir Well, good luck with that. I mostly use old hardware myself, TBH I don't think that I own any computer that is less than a decade old now 😅
Old hardware is the best 👍
@Vedrfolnir It's a linux x86-64 machine. It's not a problem really, I just quit cmus and relaunch it with a keyboard shortcut — the player is so minimalistic and fast that it literally takes as second. I just wonder, maybe there is a magic :reinit_sound_output command that I don't know of or something like that 😁
Most probably there isn't, cmus although modular, considering how fast and minimalistic it is, I think no one cared enough to make the output modules hot-pluggable.
I wonder if there is a way to reinitialize the output in #cmus without restarting it completely 🤔I have a laptop that I mostly use connected to a TV and alsa is configured so that it uses HDMI output, but when that isn't available it switches to built-in speakers, however cmus doesn't seem to realize that this has happened. Setting output_plugin or dsp.alsa.device doesn't seem to have any effect until it is restarted, not that it takes long, but it would still be nice to avoid that.

They didn't opensource the engine of this game? Now that I think about it, for RAGE they didn't do it too. Things have definitely changed since Carmack left 😩

@Mek101 Rust is super-popular here on Fedi, but Zig looks like a very interesting language too. I've been thinking of trying it out for a couple of years already.
@DotardTed
No, he's right about what popular moods in Crimea were back in 2014. Don't forget that Russian Unity was operating in Crimea well since 2008: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Unity
This didn't happen overnight and a lot of people had very wrong idea about what life in Russia is, but grassroots support was there. Of course this doesn't make any referendums especially the joke that was held in 2014 legitimate.

Not universal, I think it only works for pay what you want albums, but still a very good coupon 😅
"--add-thumbnail" is usually a nice addition, but it won't work for flac.
@Dubhes@pettingzoo.co
The job of a really good graphic designer is doing it well, then convincing the client that it's exactly what they wanted. And neural networks are pretty good at that, I mean deciding what you want for you. Maybe we aren't that safe after all 😅@mikemathia

I think you can use "-g" parameter instead of passing "0.0.0.0" to "-R".

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
