Cat-cat, I'm just a #cat ! 😸
I'm lying here, do you like that?
I find it interesting how the absence of all this "AI" shit makes it obvious that you have to put extra effort into making a photo look good.
This phone has a sensor and lens that are probably not too bad, at least not worse than in my previous phone from 2015 and yet it focuses on some weird things, like cat's fur or flowers in the background, but not cat's face! And I don't even see it, despite display also being not that bad.
I am afraid I've been left no other option and I have decided to conduct a special potato operation. Whatever tries to interfere with me, or even more so to create threats to my satiation will face such consequences that everyone has probably already experienced in his/her life at some point (probably a side dish of pickles and some fried meat). I hope I have been heard.
#Pleroma has AnonymizeFilename filter. Does anyone use it with Local uploader?
It doesn't seem to work for me. It updates the "name" field of "upload" struct, but that field is only used twice in the code: together with "id" it's assigned to "path" field, but that is done BEFORE upload filters are applied and later to fill the description field, which I don't care about.
As "path" field gets assigned before even running that filter, that is what is used to store the file in the file system.
Oh! And last but not least — of course I have my Les Claypool's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade CDs — I think this is where my frog hobby actually came from. Digipak edition of their debut "Purple Onion" came with this nice small poster featuring (guess what?) frogs! I have never got it framed and now it looks somewhat worn so it's probably too late for that.

Some more cool stuff, first this Cirno frog — yeah, who could've come up with such a thing, but here it is: https://social.librem.one/@m0xee/108979101302852075
Most people don't get what's funny about it, but those familiar with Touhou, myself included, have a good laugh.
Then this tiny guy on the photo. He's great as he has a magnet inside and these display have a magnet — this is where iSight cameras are attached. So he doesn't fall off, but my cats have noticed and started stealing him so I had to put him away.

And sure I have that frog tea set that is often featured in memes: https://social.librem.one/@m0xee/108803878928099579
Most of it is damaged and stored in the farthest corner of the shelf in the kitchen, but I still have these small cups!
And of course desk lamps, I've already posted one, here it is, next to my monome showing currency exchange rates: https://social.librem.one/@m0xee/110289587954648625
Looking pretty smug, wearing 3D glasses, right? 😄
I have another one, I barely use it nowadays, but here is a photo.
I think I've already posted this cool goldchain guy, but he actually has two frog neighbours where he lives, here they are.
There is more to the plushie on the left — it can sing Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World, but some wire inside got damaged and I stopped putting batteries in it.
I also have a lot of ceramic frog-shaped bells and whistles (literally bells and whistles 😂) — but again, I'm too lazy and paranoid to make proper photos 😅

Some of them are fine, some are not, some came from distant parts of our planet, some were bought in a souvenir shop across the street. There are more, but it's pretty messy where they usually reside — it did look good when I just came up with the idea, now — not so much.
And yes, I have a frog painting. I have another one to be honest, but it's not easy to make a good photo of it that I'm comfortable with making now.

It's Wednesday, my dudes. And I have a confession to make: I'm an avid frog collector 🐸
No, not live ones — frog-shaped things.
I'm delivering on my promise to @metallcorn to share my collection. I'm too paranoid to shoot some parts of my place and I'm even more lazy to take all of them out and dust them properly so it's going to be just a low-res tease.
These are usually sitting behind glass in the wooden cabinet that even has light, but it's now littered with other small stuff an unattractive.
@dcc Man, you were absolutely right, using web UI in mobile web browser isn't as bad as I expected it to be — had to alter a few things with CSS tweaks to make that floating/persistent header smaller and tweak the reply dialog to make the text box visible at all when replying to longer posts — it was concealed by onscreen keyboard. Pleroma is even better, required even fewer tweaks. And even notifications work in Fennec F-droid!
Now I can get rid of Tusky and Husky
So… It kinda worked!
Upgrade to 2.5.2 that is. Thanks to @dcc
No DB upgrade required — what I imagined it to be is probably just ecto.migrate
Took me a while though to realize that you can just do VACUUM(FULL); in psql without specifying any tables to optimize the whole DB 😄
Whoah! Void has i686-musl target!
I've always thought that musl doesn't work on 32-bit Intel (because Void doesn't offer installation media for this target🤭), 32-bit PowerPC is supported and I've always wondered why Intel isn't. Looks like they just don't offer it to save build time or whatever.
Now I have to decide, whether I wan't to spend time building binaries for one more targer myself just to use musl — on one hand sounds attractive, but fixing build issues might be a hassle 🤔
@Mojeek Can you improve the way your main page looks in w3m. Rivalling (or maybe not?🤔) search engine named after certain buoyant birds does a really good job with theirs.
No, you can leave the links intact, I'm not some "below 4kb" purist — but at least make the input field the first thing you see, so you don't have to navigate to it.
I mean, I can always bookmark something like https://www.mojeek.com/search?q=%20 — in this case the search field is on top, but I think that it's not the right way™ to do it.
I find it funny how badly designed 2011 MacBookPros were, I'm cross-compiling cups for my PowerPC machine now and as there is no Void binary repo for PowerPC it involves building a lot of stuff from source, right now it's building LLVM so it can truly utilize 100% CPU. And guess what? Its running off the battery! 🤯
They've put a CPU in this thing that 85W power supply can't sustain! And I'm not using the discrete GPU now — because it's fried, theoretically it could be even worse than that!
None
Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
