One of the worst outcomes of the Trump admin has been the Dem leadership deciding that their old neo-con adversaries are actually cool now, as long as they're critical of the Orange Menace. I suppose it's inevitable if you belive "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." If you welcome anyone who's against the thing you're against -- even if they should be on trial for war crimes at the Hague -- pretty soon you've got Dick Fucking Cheney as a friend. Nice. 🤦‍♂️

I got some positive feedback about my articles from a stranger and it surprised me just how much it meant. I've made more of an effort recently to tell people when I appreciate their work because of how rare (but meaningful) positive feedback is.

I also note that the Linux Foundation doesn't appear to have a presence in the Fediverse or on any open platforms, instead choosing only to use the centralised proprietary technologies of their board members' employers.
