Subscription boxes are booming in popularity.

A coop that would provide subscription boxes with basic goods of members choice sourced from different coops could be cool. So it would include coffee from a coffee coop, milk from a dairy coop, etc.

Lot of food coops have successfully implemented "veg boxes" and in Japan coops account for over half of the grocery home deliveries.

Ideally the delivery would done by a courier owned coop, many of which already exist as part of the CoopCycle network.

My biggest worry about Apple crossing the Rubicon with client-side searches is all the other vendors that inevitably copy Apple innovations, but poorly. Even if Apple can keep their promises, others won't. Imagine a home (and car) full of devices searching for crimes. ⁨#privacy⁩

As Kim Stanley Robinson suggests in his Ministry for the Future (a scientifically rigorous fictional tale of our near future) I suspect our societies won't do anywhere near enough to mitigate our contributions to #climatecatastrophe until there are millions of deaths from climate-related disasters. So now it's just a matter of working out who those unlucky people are going to be... and who else will be unlucky in dealing with the bitterness (probably some of it violent) of those left behind.
