Matrix status page, status.matrix.org/, Has a banner at the top proclaiming, "Some systems are experiencing issues", but all the listed statuses are green (Operational). ???

Finally saw a reason why I ended up with five different covers in my OFF! First Four EPs set. It seems that one of the original covers not released to the general public, let's call it Pedophile Cop, was deemed too controversial. My set (general public release) had two copies of the 7" that had the aforementioned cover and the general release cover, but was missing one of the other 7". (I got four, but only 3 different vinyls.) Writing to the band got me the missing 7" with it's cover.

A year ago we said it was troubling that the so-called predictive policing program created by Banjo used “artificial intelligence” hidden inside a black box. A state audit has now revealed that the company had no AI to speak of. vice.com/en/article/pkd7pk/ban

If the term, "class", is superior, then why isn't the term, "class-oriented", in common use?

The more I see it used, the more I think that the term, "firmware", should have never been invented, or at least never been applied to software.

My university seems to be continuing is slide into MS control. Can't really have a local server to host things anymore. Can't really even have my own web pages hosted by the university.

Pretty much all of the tech knowledge is being outsourced to big tech companies.

Really makes me appreciate the stuff I see at places like OERu. Which I think is largely maintained by @lightweight

For better or for worse, I've put my entire Machine Component Design course online. All 9.5 hours spread over 55 videos.

I am collecting my knowledge on this topic on this page.
