Besides plenty of fixes #phosh can now be a #geoclue agent (so location services can work) and has support for reboot/shutdown dialogs (which are used when e.g. gnome-software wants to reboot or when you shut down the system from the menu).

My university seems to be continuing is slide into MS control. Can't really have a local server to host things anymore. Can't really even have my own web pages hosted by the university.
Pretty much all of the tech knowledge is being outsourced to big tech companies.
Really makes me appreciate the stuff I see at places like OERu. Which I think is largely maintained by @lightweight

I don't think @lisalisa was wrong for the dismissive response; although one can avoid such questions by posting some proof with their statements, one can also easily do a web search before asking for proof and maybe find this, http://techrights.org/2021/01/20/fsf-secrecy/ , and more. People tend to get lazy when they hear a statement they don't want to believe.
@fribbledom Putting Microsoft in control will surely fix our security problems...said no intelligent and sane being ever...

In related news, PHP switches to hosting their repositories on GitHub.

"git get-tar-commit-id" extracts the commit ID from an archive created using git-archive.
This is super useful for packagers!
