librefree.me turns 1 years old this month! What started as a passion project has opened the doors for a lot of great opportunities and for making some really good friends. I want to thank everyone who not only reads our blog posts, but lets us know their opinions and questions as well. For the upcoming year, we plan on launching a Patreon for those looking to help support us as well as becoming an Amazon affiliate, as we do need to keep the lights on.

For anyone curious to learn more about the author @braillynn, she does have a website of her own that outlines some other projects she’s involved in. Check out Braillynn.me if you’re interested.

Matrix vs. XMPP

lukesmith.xyz/articles/matrix-

I'm glad someone wrote this article, Matrix vs. XMPP was kind of a controversial topic and many people were saying different things about it. This Article cleared most of my doubts regarding it, like which protocol is lightweight ? which is more secure & privacy friendly ? which of those is easier to use ? etc.

We've updated our logo, what do you think? Do you like it? Let us know!

@geotechland Element became too unpredictable. We’ll need to find a different way to communicate, lol.

Projects that are currently in the works: /e/ OS review, Interview with YouTuber Retro Game Corps, Sunbeam F1 review, Librem 5 review, Terracube 2e review and more @librefree.me
