@devrtz @trregeagle @kyle @purism I use my pinephone with a nexdock almost every day. Just in case you don't know already. There are two great hotkey combinations in phosh, Super+A and Super+S. The first opens the tray for launching new apps. The second opens the tray for easy task switching. Learning those hotkey combos in phosh dramatically improved my experience while in convergence mode.

@ebassi I've got it on my pinephone, but unfortunately all of my music files are mp4 files. Either way, I'm stoked to have another option out there and I can't wait to see what's gotten everybody so excited. Keep up the good work!

@linmob Oof, that vulnerabillity looks pretty bad. So you thinks its worth it to move to bitkorgis firmware instead? Do all the calling, texting, and whatnot work with his new firmware? Thanks in advance!

@craftyguy Using a pinephone here. Recently switched away from pmOS on account of wanting to use convergence mode and it not working well or at all there. Currently using Manjaro, but did enjoy pmOS. Will probably switch back to pmOS once it works there.

What is the best Linux mobile desktop environment? Boost for larger sample size.

@agx Awesome work! I'm still waiting on my L5, but I did just recently order a nexdock anyhow. I'm sure that any distro running phosh will benefit, even if I have to use a pine phone for the time being...

A future with this sort of convergence looks amazing. Thank you for always working to upstream the code!

Linux running on RISC-V on MNT RKX7! A completely* open computer down to the CPU gateware.

* the only wart is that it needs Vivado's synthesize/place+route tools to build the gateware source for Kintex-7

it's real: the first assembled MNT RKX7. an open hardware kintex-7 fpga SoM with many peripherals for MNT Reform (or other projects).

@nitrokey Hey NitroKey, as a #postmarketOS dev this honestly gets me a bit worried. I've seen several companies jumping on the "Linux on mobile" bandwagon without realizing what makes the PinePhone and Librem 5 so great: mainline Linux kernel support.

Please make sure that if you make a Linux-based phone, it'll either ship with mainline support or has at least work going to it to make that happen in the future!

@kyle Yeah, I enjoyed Ergo Proxy for sure.

If you are into psychological dystopian cyberpunk anime, I would HIGHLY recommend checking out the first season of psycho pass. My understanding is that it is similar to minority report, but either way it is gritty and masterfully done.

Just some screenshots of Shattered-pixel-Dungeon a fun little Roguelike RPG running on the #Pinephone

I showed this one before but I realized there is a .jar version in the LinMobGames repo now so you can use it on more then just Mobian. I just love this game it's not specially complicated but a ton of fun and I even played it before I had a Pinephone! :D

Big thanks to @ShatteredPixel (Twitter) for the amazing work!

Valve just dropped the bomb. A cheap portable console like computer with Linux on it (and it's arch btw). It's called the #SteamDeck.

2021 confirmed year of the Linux portable gaming console.

@mntmn @striker @jirka@mastodon.sdf.org I'm glad to see you had libreSOC in mind. I've been following that project for a while and it seems like a good fit with the reform. Please keep us posted about how well it works.
