Just learned this morning that Bram Moolenaar, creator and maintainer of Vim, passed away recently at 62. I’ve been a user of Vim since my 20s, so even though I’ve never met Bram his work has been an important part of my life.

well, Alex Gleason - or Soapbox TERF - has quit his job at Truth Social to go work on integrating Soapbox with the Nostr network, which is like the dark fediverse but with bitcoins. Gleason got funding from Jack Dorsey to do this work.

Soapbox is Gleason's fork of Pleroma after he was so much of an arsehole he managed to get kicked out of that project, and the project was largely the other ten guys at the table

A prediction (based on decades of coding):
There is some code - somewhere deep in the zillions of lines of X(Twitter) code - which absolutely and wrongly depends on the literal string "twitter".
And, as the rebranding continues, it will fail, spectacularly.

@sethi @kaiengert a few more screenshots from #Thunderbird on #LinuxMobile. With the folder panel hidden and the message list switched to Card View it is quite usable. I've also added the Folders Toolbar button for switching between accounts.
