It seems to me that the people telling other people who they can and can't listen to are the ones being the bullies.
@feditips
If you block them for yourself, why would you care if other people decide to not block them. To me, personal level blocks are the way to go. If you don't want to see what someone posts, you shouldn't have to, but at the same time, it really shouldn't be any of your business if someone else wants to view said posts.

When my Librem 5 finally comes, maybe it will be even better, but I got tired of waiting and got a mid tier Pinephone. Flashed Mobian on it right away. It is quite good, easily the best phone I've ever had and fully (maybe with a bluetooth keyboard) a laptop replacement. This is largely thanks to Phosh, but the Pinephone is dutifully supportive if occasionally sluggish
I dropped my pinephone pretty hard last week and since then it has been freezing up and I have to hard reboot it, so this is coming at a good time!

I ordered my L5 on February 1, 2019. If I read the table correctly, the production run for my phone has been completed!!!

I was showing the video in this post to a friend and realized that "the recently added matrix" support in chatty was mentioned.
Is that now out of experimental?
@kyle
It is rainy here, so I can't actually test it yet, but I just updated phosh on my pinephone and set this on it also.
Great work from purism with this new phosh update!!!
Phosh has a new optional feature that uses the light sensor to switch to a high contrast theme whenever it detects you are in direct sunlight. Very cool, especially since it also applies to the lock screen and all GTK apps too. #Librem5
@linmob
Have a great holiday!
@Linux_in_a_Bit
I installed it as a web app on my pinephone.

Do a poll asking what timezone your followers are in. Post it one time without boosting, see if you get better responses from certain timezones. That will give you an idea whether boosting is necessary or not.
(Obviously, anyone complaining hasn't read through your tips as timezone boosting was one of them.)
@toroidalcore
I did us mobile. But they are using the T-Mobile towers.
Small question to the #mobileLinux crowd here (and especially #Mobian people on #PinePhone):
since the @mobian update around June 26, USB tethering suddenly started working on PP <= 1.2 (UBPorts Edition).
This was amazing news for me since I have a 1.2 and *never* managed to get the USB network working on any distro before.
However, what leaves me a bit frustrated is that I've no idea what changed, what fixed it... would anyone know (or know where I could look)?
@toroidalcore
I had to switch away from AT&T at the beginning of this year. When the turned off their 3G towers, they also implemented a process of only allowing whitelisted devices to use the network.
They told me that if a phone is 3G capable (even if it is also 4G capable) it will not work on their network.
