@mntmn I host a Nextcloud instance for friends and family for this reason. 24TB of storage for the cost of the domain and electricity (and the initial cost of the hardware, I suppose, but they're multifunctional servers).

great news: cinap_lenrek from the 9front project contributed a patch to our version of u-boot that finally gives us a graphical console (and keyboard) in the bootloader on MNT Reform: https://source.mnt.re/reform/reform-boundary-uboot/-/merge_requests/12 this will also help with running OpenBSD.
