For those who consider themselves FOSS evangelists, one of the most important things you can do for new users is focus on how user-friendly and reliable #Linux is (over the open-source aspect). Let them discover the open nature on their own. First they need to know it works.

Thankful for the #snow and the beauty it creates. Also grateful to those working the snowploughs throughout the holiday season to make the roads/pavements safe for driving/walking.

As well as people in my life, i.e. you reading this... Hope 2022 will be kinder to everyone! 💙

Ooh the snow adding some highlights to my hair... (I should wear a beanie even if it's not that cold)

The first wave of EVs are old enough their batteries are starting to fail. People tend to repair old ICE cars, but at a $22k price tag to replace batteries that will inevitably fail, it seems like older EVs will be thrown away instead of repaired. gizmodo.com/finnish-man-passes

I asked myself: Is the #Nokia N9 with #MeeGo still useable?
Sure, if you want something for music (hell! get the 64gb version if you can!), (outdated) navigation/maps, calls, simple instant messageing (Telegram, XMPP, SMS). With mails, calDAV and Web in general,.. well, it depends on the server. Since MeeGo doesn't support TLSv1.3 it could be difficult to connect to modern servers.
I really like this small little device! We need a modern phone in this size (with a lean OS!). @PINE64 ?! :)
