Albert Einstein’s first wife Mileva (Mitza) Marić was also a brilliant physicist. They met at the Polytechnic Institute of Zurich, where she had fought for special permissions to attend and where she received higher marks than Albert. Mitza put in as much if not more work on their theories but wasn’t credited because Albert told her their works wouldn’t get published with a woman’s name on them. Many of his lecture notes are in Mitza’s handwriting, and Albert was once heard at a party saying, “I need my wife, she helps solve all of my mathematical problems.” 80% of Einstein’s famous works were published during this marriage, referred to as his “magic years.” Those magic years ended abruptly after they divorced due to his infidelity and abandonment.

@jsparber I have just installed steal my focus extension on Gnome 45 and it works!

1. click on link in geary
2. it switches to new firefox browser tab right away

In Gnome with the notification i was expecting it to go to the location when selecting the notification itself but nothing would happen.

You remember the "<Application> is ready" in GNOME or when you click on a notification the app isn't focused?

This will be finally fixed in GNOME 46

i think the EU should pass legislation that enforces standards based 2factor auth (like totp/hotp) for banks, health insurance etc. it is absolutely unacceptable that people are _forced_ to buy android/ios smartphones to use critical services

With some preparatory work to allow plugins to use objects from #phosh core and @arunmani 's nice work on custom quick settings already merged the often asked for caffeine toggle is within reach:

Running latest Linux Kernel 6.8 RC4 on 2013 MacPro Tashcan hardware with no noticeable issues and zero patches applied.

@phoronix too bad it doesnt fix what causes Rebel Galaxy Outlaw to not launch in Steam Client with -Vulkan. Proton 7 works fine however, so not sure if there even would be a real world benefit for older games such as RGO
