You remember the "<Application> is ready" in GNOME or when you click on a notification the app isn't focused?
This will be finally fixed in GNOME 46

@jsparber I have just installed steal my focus extension on Gnome 45 and it works!
1. click on link in geary
2. it switches to new firefox browser tab right away
In Gnome with the notification i was expecting it to go to the location when selecting the notification itself but nothing would happen.
