I wonder if subscriptions are transferrable upon death? Probably not.

I'm in Canada but if we have something similar, I would also decline it. I wouldn't be alive long enough for its full duration of 40 years, so I may as well not pre-emptively pay taxes on something I couldn't fully redeem.

Whoah in the United States if you win a game subscription prize, it's considered taxable income and you have to pay taxes. 😲

@ronald Ah ok. When I was using the JV 880, it was with an Amiga 1200 and Bars n Pipes software. I remember configuring my own control changes (bank and program select I guess?) to set the right patches per MIDI channel.

A republican governor in Florida called #transgender people mutants and demons from another planet today.

While I would so love to own both these, and I will claim the demon part muwahaha, we can’t be mutants from another planet because a mutant is mutated life from the same planet.

Loving your JV sound module reference! I had a blast in the 90s with a friend’s JV-880 and D-50 synth.

My first proper owned synth was an XP-60 workstation. It was beyond fun! :D
