Det största problemet skulle jag tro är att metoden "proof of work" (som är bäst på att ge ett system som är permissionless) lätt leder till slöseri med resurser. På högerkanten är det populärt att strunta i klimatförändringar och sånt så de bryr sig inte särskilt mycket om det, men för vänstern är det annorlunda.

Skulle säga att hela grejen med "kryptovaluta" är något som egentligen har i sig stora och bra möjligheter men det har blivit så mycket bedrägerier kring sånt att det är väldigt stor risk att vad man än gör så kommer det att uppfattas som en scam. Det gör att man behöver tänka sig väldigt noga för när det gäller vad man gör och hur man kommunicerar det, för folk är (med rätta) väldigt misstänksamma.

I firmly disagree about the relative importance of things here.

In my opinion, the more important issue is reducing our dependence on Google.

The most important thing that makes postmarketOS great is that it allows people to be more independent from Google. Google's dominance in the world (in which Android plays a big part) is a bigger threat to humanity than eWaste.

(Other than that, it shows connection "good" and 0% packet loss which seems good.)

Can I somehow ask jitsi to use a different codec? Or is there something that could be done to make the "opus" codec work better?
