Please don't help Putin spread his lies. Instead, support freedom and democracy.
Note that supporting freedom and democracy is not necessarily the same thing as supporting the US.
Can we agree that freedom is good and that Putin's regime is bad?

Unfortunately, people in Russia do not have democracy and they do not have free speech. That seems to me like the fundamental problem that lead to war. If Russia had been more democratic then this war would not be happening. People generally don't want war. (I call it war although in Russia saying that is apparently not allowed, no freedom of speech there.)
As for Ukraine, you might not like its leaders but it's clearly a more democratic country compared to Russia.

I get the impression that you dislike the US and Israel. Fine, but if you let that drive you all the way to supporting Putin then I urge you to stop and think for a moment.
Here are things I want, things I care about:
- Freedom
- Democracy
- Human rights
- Free speech
- Peace
I want this for everyone.

@alexl@mstdn.io Well, reddit sucks, sure.
> Russia is trying to free Ukraine from #Nazists
Are you seriously going to contribute to spreading that ridiculous claim? Why?
How about sticking to facts?
More things to test:
ping4 analytics.google.com
ping6 analytics.google.com
Both should work, if you have both ipv4 and ipv6 working. You could also check:
nslookup analytics.google.com
and compare to what you get on a computer where you can connect, to see if it's DNS issue.
@eastcoastweb I can connect to analytics.google.com but I don't want to 😉
You could check with telnet to port 80 and/or 443 ?

I really appreciate the clear explanation in this graphic, but I don't understand why you would include the trash-talking of linux-libre at the bottom.
If you cut out the unnecessary part about linux-libre/BSD/Alpine, then I think you have a very nice graphic that might help more people understand the issue.
Don't say that linux-libre is garbage, that is simply not true: linux-libre is what it is, and depending on what someone wants it may or may not be useful for them.

@dcz I worked on research about parallel programming modelsa few years ago, here is one of the papers: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.parco.2013.09.006
You can read the introduction part without subscription, it's a kind of overview of parallel programming approaches including something about the actor model.
@dcz Nothing is worse than threaded code. 😄
