@elly GNOME does have a USBGuard integration, though the last time I looked at it it would need some adjustments to work well on phones (it's clearly made for desktop use cases). All the needed building blocks are already there at least. USBGuard itself is used on the Librem 5 by default to not let the modem firmware impersonate another device, but it's not used for the USB-C port yet (though the user can add any rule they want, of course).

@CaptechOmar @pi_crew This is just a matter of switching the audio output. I just launched Waydroid on my phone right now while connected to a Bluetooth speaker and the audio comes out through it fine. Switching the output in Phosh makes it move between devices, just like with any other app.

@CaptechOmar @pi_crew Bluetooth, sure (GATT) - but Bluetooth audio? 🤨 What do you even mean by that? Container's audio output is a PulseAudio client that gets routed to any host output you want, including Bluetooth, already.

@kravietz Raczej chodziło o "prawicę (...) i partię Razem", ale wypowiedzi podkładane przez znanego hakera o pseudonimie carlo rossi nie słyną z bycia jednoznacznymi i wyraźnie zrozumiałymi.

I'm happy to report that I've successfully managed to turn my WTFs and OMGs into working touch PointerEvents, and even got to spot and fix some minor bugs on the way. Once I manage to go through the submission and review process as well it should considerably improve the handling of touchscreens on websites in GNOME Web.

@hyperlinkyourheart > it doesn't maximise apps when you open them

That's how it works when docked to a screen, keyboard and mouse. If you don't set the virtual machine carefully to make it look like a phone it will likely believe it's "docked" and act accordingly. In any case, you can toggle docked mode in Phosh's quick settings to override it.

Whenever I look at 's source code my head is full of WTFs.

@williamtries If only I knew myself yet 😭 I do have an idea for a talk that I could submit, but not yet sure whether I'll manage to prepare it and travel there, we'll see.

@lxskllr @kolombiken You absolutely can incrementally update, it's just Android that isn't made in a way that would support it. It's a property of the software.
