@janvlug @cpontvieux @fraggle You need to load a different kernel module, the default one expects a battery with integrated coulomb counter. This will also affect the LED (it isn't hardware controlled). SHR Settings should let you do that with a button press, but don't get mad at 16yo me if it doesn't work reliably 馃榿

@attie > Okay, so is it a USB C alt mode? (e.g: DP) ... almost certainly no, because it also has USB A ports.

It almost certainly is DisplayPort alt-mode, especially with that 4K@30Hz cap that matches the available bandwidth on 2 lanes of DP1.2 which you get when sharing the lanes with USB 3 ports.

@pavel It looks off - I'm afraid this is effectively an upscaled 524x778 stream. Your yuyv function throws half of the horizontal resolution away by duplicating the pixels' luminosity (and that's in addition to regular chroma subsampling that will happen there, which wouldn't be as noticeable on its own).

Debian 13 "trixie" has been released, thanks to everyone involved! "trixie" images are available for download at debian.org/distrib/ or you can run apt full-upgrade as always ;-) #debian #debian13 #trixie #ReleasingDebianTrixie

Sicelo brought #phosh to the venerable #N900 using #wlroot's pixman renderer as backend. It's not snappy as the device is too underpowered for that but awesome that it works !

If you're around LA, California, you can see the teaser for "The Flight of the Quirky Owl" on the big screen!
So thrilled to be included! 馃槏馃敟

@kpcyrd @cwebber @dpk Even without these clauses the outcome would likely be similar in western jurisdictions if a hostile takeover was attempted, but there's of course no way to know for sure without actually having a court decide (at which point it's already costing you time, effort and money), so every bit of reassurance/deterrence helps anyway 馃榿

@lanodan @dpk @cwebber It is true - but it's not exactly relevant when it was pretty much done in best interest of everyone involved. Law is (supposed to be) a tool to protect interests of people, not the other way around.

@cwebber @dpk Now tell me, what did the courts say about that when handling lawsuits from copyright holders who were hurt by this? 馃槈

@cwebber @dpk Courts operate not just on the license's letter, but also its spirit, so taking over FSF to publish a permissive GPLv4 wouldn't necessarily be as effective as it may seem at first glance - even if it would still cause plenty of chaos. In contrast, the spirit of this joke license is pretty much "an overly complex way to say it's MIT-0/0BSD" - that is, unless a court decides otherwise, judging from the whole context around a particular case and particular people involved ;)

@dpk @cwebber There's no need for any takeover, there are licenses on these lists that let you freely relicense to anything you want already.

@brie Perhaps, but I only looked into the logs now that I finished the thing I was using sshfs for. It turns out that sshfs isn't even maintained anymore, so I'll probably just rely on kio instead in the future 馃槈

@wolnoscwkieszeni Na Decku. Mo偶e i historia, ale N900 nadal dzia艂a i czasem s艂u偶y jako zapasowy.

@wolnoscwkieszeni laptop: Arch, Firefox; telefon: PureOS, Epiphany; telefon 2: Maemo; konsola: SteamOS; routery: OpenWrt; VPSy: Debian.

So it happened. After two decades of using GNU/Linux on laptops, I started having these mythical troubles with resume from system suspend.

Cause? FUSE and sshfs. A task refuses to freeze because of an unresponsive filesystem and all things go haywire. Quite suboptimal.

Still waiting for audio to break though 馃槀

By the way, with just a one-line change (commenting out mp4mux/filesink, uncommenting flvmux/rtmpsink and adjusting the URL) you can stream online rather than to a local file 馃槑
