I've seen these issues manifest in Gnome software and a small percentage of people contribute to the stack for screen readers and related tech. So Gnome cannot get to the minimal level we expect.
GPL is open but with "restrictions" to keep it open. We need Communities and "tech" to foster open communities but with "restrictions" to keep it open.
Creating open communities is a lot harder than creating open IP.

Plugging my #Librem5 phone into my 4K monitor works like a charm. I just need to connect a keyboard and mouse.
It would be great if I could get my #Librem14 laptop to work with USB-C.

I recently updated my Nokia G10 to the Android 13 and notifications are unreliable! I disabled all battery optimisations, changed apps to unrestricted. Make sure all notification settings for apps are on. Followed a bunch of guides but nothing worked.
After a few hours of not using an app I no longer get notifications for Signal, ProtonMail, Planta, and others. My partner has to send text messages!
I hate Apple and there cost but it looks like I have to get an iPhone.

@xogium cool, I have an Ubuntu server running ZoneMinder for security cameras that I do not like. So I'll give it a try when I switch software.

@jamesthomson all of this tech for a pocket calculator! It'll be great to see all the different ways you can do math in VR.

@danirabbit @mbullington when I was firstly diagnosed people were like can you see this, can you see that. It doesn't disappear from my vision it just doesn't look as colourful. I think "correction" is good, because we use it for glasses, to correct people's vision.
So maybe "colour deficiency correction" and a description saying it'll assist you by adjusting the colours of your display.

@jookia if I am a criminal and I get you to sign an NDA to not tell anyone and you tell the police. Is the NDA valid? Does this apply to contract law? Would this fall under whistleblower type protections?
