@BrodieOnLinux not just thr tech field, it is dead in every field of journalism.

@distrotube@mastodon.technology aren't everyone's, although you have more than most people lol. We all should do this, be the change you would like to see and all that.

@BrodieOnYoutube try doom-emacs perfect time to try it out. Not an emacs user myself but it is supposed to be pretty good especially with evil mode.

@BrodieOnYoutube no worries I'm just salty because they banned me for a week lol. I just ditched them when I was ditching Facebook and linkedIn.

@BrodieOnYoutube twitter is a skip fire anyway lol. I didn't know you could follow people on github never found how to do it, guess I'll have to keep looking.

@darkijah they don't care about that like I do. I would rather use librem chat since I have that service.

@darkijah if I can't get people to leave WhatsApp to move to purism chat, how do I get them to use signal?

@purism would love to ditch WhatsApp but none of my family or friends want to leave it. If I could use librem chat to talk to them on WhatsApp that would be fantastic.

@purism BTW I use arch with i3wm. Learning to code at uni, gaming, and configuration that's the most important part.

@an93lofdeath @micahbp great ideas we agree! Good video and written resources will make it easier for people to switch, use and recommend the service to friends and family so this is very important to us. We have it on our roadmap and will get to it ASAP after the Librem 5 launch.

@micahbp @purism including how to use them on desktop OS's like linux, if they can be.

@purism
You guys need to(or hire a YouTuber) do a series of tutorials on how to use the Librem One services. Setting your account, create and using your VPN, connecting on Librem Social etc.

@purism been trying but they just don't care, how do you get through that?

@purism will there be a way to have folders? If there is a way I haven't found it yet. I like to keep important messages in their own folder.

@juacq97 @distrotube@mastodon.technology there is a difference between proprietary software being on a repo and installing it as standard, that is another thing entirely. As for steam being installed as standard only steam fans would be happy, surely? I get the point in the video but I would be happy to just uninstall it.
