@rbrown okay, that’s easier then. Fishing that cable out, and then remembering which string of profanity and random button smashing makes my monitor decide to let me choose the input can be time consuming. Shouldn’t take long to set the displays to join and See What Happens.

@rbrown I’ll give it a shot today and let you know. I don’t join or mirror myself. I do use the HDMI directly with my current EC (the one from my fork), but I use it as the only display. I think I left the USB-C to DP cable plugged in too so I can try both.

Well, I made it. The critical set of Bash madness was ported to a new host with a large set of bug fixes such that it now works on purpose. It’s been accidentally working for years. I have to wonder why one sees things like `/home/$USER/yolo` or optional parameters passed around as $optiona through $optionp (okay Bash arrays are awful but come on). Copy pasta of the same block in 24 different files, all of which also source things and contain functions. I don’t have whiskey. Beer will have to do

The ol' bump deps and rev projects dance is done again. Third time now that I've said "I ought to automate this process" - and I have a placeholder project that might just fit the bill for the right way to do it.

@VincentTunru I already offered @Gina the opportunity to live in TX for free and even pay her gym membership if she’ll make me bitterballen. All she has to do is become tolerant to months above 40C heat indices with 100% humidity, give up any thoughts of ever riding a bicycle to a grocery store (or anywhere else) ever again, and be Fine with the fact the healthcare system is fundamentally broken. We do have amazing tacos though. #sacrifices
