I had some similar issues with my newsletter, but I thought it was just some people not looking in their junk folder or something. (Emailing some separately and asking if they got it.) Hmm.

An email list server with a private web archive like Mailman3 suite? Tons of open source projects and other groups have been using those since the 1900's. Doesn't get much more evergreen than that. Will work with clients from 30 years ago and 30 years into the future. If the kids like chat UIs, you can install DeltaChat for that.

@atomicpoet It can do all the same things Matrix does though. My understanding of the Fediverse was that it was a network of public social networks. I would say Matrix is a messaging protocol. Oh well, it's not important.
