Thanks to @foreverandaday for making it known the existence of https://bird.makeup, a fork of BirdsiteLIVE that uses the same back-end as Nitter(https://github.com/zedeus/nitter), which uses the hidden Twitter API. We do not wish to bypass the Twitter-allowed usage guidelines and have no guarantee Twitter will not axe hidden API access with tooling in the future, so if you would like to migrate to https://bird.makeup, which may last past the Feb 9 cut.
@4 Try again, there was a problem with new follows in the last 24h that was just fixed
You know, bird.makeup is INCREDIBLE. Not only does it get past the Birdsite's API limits, it correctly mirrors threads, replies, retweets and quote tweets. I understand some large instances block it, and I feel doing so is as stupid as Birdsite's API blocks are. It's an amazing tool for bridging the gap for some of the people who haven't found their way here yet, but should. #birdmakeup

@Rica can’t you simply look into your following list?
"Psychologists use "IQ" to politely put people & entire races in boxes with the label "idiots", and stick them there for a lifetime. They ruin people's careers and potentials. Politely. I call psychologists (& IQ mountebanks) idiots to their face. Not politely." - @nntaleb
@mekkaokereke It is important to understand that gender equality does not mean that men are giving up nice things. Patriarchy hurts majority of men as well, just in different ways. Many "male privileges" are upon closer examination no privileges at all.
Patriarhcal roles reserved for men are quite narrow and make their lives less safe and more lonely.
So because USDC = $1 is hardcoded inside Maker, the price gap of DAI<>USD will be the same as USD<>USDC even though only 30% of the collateral is USDC because it’s free to arb the difference by putting USDC inside it and printing DAI as if USDC = $1.
"TikTok is, at the moment, the most monkeys at the most typewriters you’re going to find on one platform. And it’s scaring everyone. But it shouldn’t! And if Spotify can’t just be Spotify, a stable, growing, incredibly profitable hub for a very specific kind of user interaction with music, with audio, then, truly, what is the point? Put another way: Why even try and build different platforms at all if they’re all just going to become video apps?" https://open.substack.com/pub/garbageday/p/an-infinite-amount-of-monkeys-at?r=22hu3&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email
@jtamboli My theory is that I was rotating profile public keys frequently. People seemed to experience a dropped profile when their server tried to refresh it. I am not rotating anymore, but it's kinda hard to test if my theory is right
@jtamboli But is it an account that was added since yesterday? If I'm right in the source of the bug, old insertion from at least a few days will still experience this, but not the new ones.
Since you have a script, could you remove everything and add it back? That would be a strong test
