@papush @wolfie @absturztaube All it does is mask your IP address and add a layer of encryption between you and the VPN, nothing else.

If you want real privacy, aside from using nothing but TOR and proxying every single connection you make through TOR, you will also have to change some habits in your internet usage.

@absturztaube @papush TOR is basically a proxy on steroids, more like what the internet should be based on rather than what it is today.

But a VPN is nothing but an extension of a LAN over WAN.

So using a VPN for "privacy" is kinda pointless, as I've stated hundreds of times.
