Yeah, I am looking forward to it… I have done everything I ever wanted to do for my govt except work for the CSA, but with full family life I just wanna do my e-businesses and trades to buy more metals and prepper gear.

@Prodigal OSHA might, maybe, have the authority to create new workplace policies without new legislation. Big maybe.
OSHA has established regulations for when it may act under the “general duty clause.” The four criteria are 1) There must be a hazard; 2) The hazard must be a recognized hazard (e.g., the employer knew or should have known about the hazard, the hazard is obvious, or the hazard is a recognized one within the industry); 3) The hazard could cause or is likely to cause serious harm or death; and 4) The hazard must be correctable (OSHA recognizes not all hazards are correctable).
If the rule applies to remote workers it fails criterion 1). There is no hazard to coworkers of contracting a virus through the computer..PERIOD

I’m sure you would agree that the homeless person you described above lacks the Will to avoid destitution thru their own actions.
They are mentally and behaviourally impaired.
Still, if their impairment allows them some functionality, they can do basic work as a cleaner.
We don’t even need the govt to give them social assistance, we can delete that govt department and replace it with privately run non profits in each municipality that would handle that.
Then I would donate or volunteer there, lower my tax bill, and all the government needs is a small civil service team to visit and check up on such facilities.
The burden on the tax payer will lower.
So much of what govt does private citizenry can do with more focus and efficiencies.

Because the govt stole that money through taxation, money earned by capitalist entrepreneurs and the workers supporting capitalist enterprises.
A business could depend very little on the govt save for law enforcement, and still demand I pay 13% HST.
The govt doesn’t help me to market, doesn’t give me internet, doesn’t pay my mortgages, doesn’t pay my office supplies or transportation costs. You get the idea.
Yet for every dollar or product or service I sell, I mark up costs by 13% and I still have to pay tax on retained earnings after expenses.
