@thelinuxEXP When I drive, I usually crash everywhere.... So, I can relate. ๐
@thelinuxEXP Thanks! I've been looking for a tutorial on how to use TimeShift.
@Tutanota Hold on a second! Let me go and grab a spoon.... ๐ฅ ๐จ ๐
@popey Will you still be on Mastodon? You could also join another instance.
@Linux4Everyone @librefree I hope it doesn't actually move away from this concept of being a distro for developers and other people who need access to the latest 'vanilla' GNOME technologies. Besides, we have plenty of distros with GNOME already.
@Linux4Everyone It's a really neat idea.... It might actually solve the problem mentioned here: https://www.techrepublic.com/article/why-linux-still-needs-a-flagship-distribution/.
@ONLYOFFICE I would love to see ONLYOFFICE also available on Linode as an app.
@purism This is awesome...! While I agree with adopting 'an open ecosystem of apps', there are some proprietary apps that I require to do some work. This makes it much more convenient to invest in a Librem 5 soon. I am really looking forward to this getting more streamlined.
Anbox on the Librem 5

"Anbox now runs on the Librem 5, getting you access to many additional free software apps that are packaged only for Android."
@JoshStrobl I am on Apple Music but I generally don't care for the recommendations made to me. I prefer having a more 'hands-on' approach to finding content. It somehow feels more satisfying to watch or listen to that way. ๐
@lunduke That's why you should never trust when someone says it's '0K'. ๐
@lunduke I honestly didn't get this at first. It was only a little later that I realized you meant 'zero' Kelvin and not 'okay'. ๐
Your Phone Is Your Castle
https://puri.sm/posts/your-phone-is-your-castle/
"If your home is your physical castle, your phone is your digital castle. More than any other computer, your phone has become the most personal of personal computers and holds the most sensitive digital property a person has..."
@Linux4Everyone I do but that's just me trying to be funny. It's bad. I know.... ๐
@omgubuntu GNOME Maps also looks better than ever. I guess I won't get lost now when I buy my next smartphone, which is going to run Linux. (I am mainly looking at the Librem 5. @purism has made some real progress with it.)
@omgubuntu It's really nice to see the updates to the 'Welcome Tour' app and fingerprint support. It really adds a level of finesse to the system as these are things that people often notice. Cheers to the team at Canonical for putting the effort to improve the fingerprint support.
@gabriel GNOME is not bad at all.... ๐
@gabriel @omgubuntu That looks great! We really need more distros to show this level of attention to UI and UX. It's amazing!
@lunduke That was a 'killer'...! ๐ ๐
