@waldoj How do i call a totally made up bogus module which does nothing to demonstrate the principle or syntax? I agree foo is heavily abused out of context but original purpose is legit to me. I.e. don't even try to comprehend logic/purpose, look at syntax/structure

@flypig Does it improve user experience on J1 phone?

@mullvaden ok it's actually shell commands wrapped in C code, to demonstrate absurdity of the concept. Nominally it's malware as it performs malicious activity on the PC where it runs. And nominally second command is antimalware as it searches and removes anything which tries to perform such malicious activity.

@mullvaden @evacide nah it's C, not a shell, but copying something from the internets into a command shell is not a brilliant idea even when you understand it

@AAKL@noc.social *I mean game publishers, not developers

@AAKL@noc.social When game developers go insane with their DRM, gamers respond with DRM cheating to balance the global level of sanity. Security purists are the only victims here (who confused gamers' gears with security gears)

@evacide Also with AI any idiot can write antimalware! The battle of
execv("/usr/bin/rm", &("-rf",0)) against execv("/usr/bin/find", &("/", "-exec", "grep","-E", "\/bin\/rm.+-rf","{}",";","-delete",0))

@mntmn mmm dat'z nice, i was just thinking what to add to my order with protected boards

@mntmn white balance is broken it seems. need to add more blue and red.

@ademalsasa keepassxc, because it supports secrets api so can act as drop-in replacement for gnome's gkr.

@thaodan I can only comment from perspective of CZ - here email-like solution (mojedatovaschranka.cz) is having specific features which common email cannot provide. Namely confirmation of login (enter), read receipt and confirmation of retention. Both are having legal consequences therefore cannot be provided as opt-in feature. Therefore while email is used for normal communication, legally-binding exchange (applications, extracts, submission) can only happen via DS.CZ service

Earlier today Elon Musk said that my ban was temporary, 45 min later he denied my appeal to reinstate my account and confirmed that I am *permanently* banned. The email I just received says the decision cannot be reversed.
I have never once violated Twitters rules or terms of service. I’ve never had a single tweet flagged, my account was permanently banned with no warning and with no reason, after I reached out to Musk for comment.

@dcz I'm using both with ecdsa set to be "preferred by server", however majority of connections end up with rsa. I understand attacker will always chose the weakest, but seems many client stacks cannot handle still dcsa.

@dcz X1-X3 is series of protocols/interfaces which any EU telco operator must implement to provide LI (Lawful intercept or simple surveillance).

@dcz USA is merely wild west here while in EU surveillance is heavily bureaucratized (eg X1-X3 interfaces and stuff). For end user (like me) it still means I have no idea whether I'm under LI or not, legitimately or by whim.

@dcz If you don't use (or trust) encryption then yes, although I don't see much difference here between US, UK or DE based companies, my trust to them is comparable.

@dcz ah so you need legal entity in EU? Their PoPs (end hence breakout) are definitely in EU.

@dcz Ok, I'm using huricane tunnel service with PoP at Frankfurt tunnelbroker.net/status.php was using AMS before since FRA was overloaded. Latency is 20-30ms.
