Does anyone know an EU-based server provider which gives out a /60 or greater #IPv6 prefix?
That's for a tunnel, so it can be pitifully weak, but must have 500GB traffic/month and cost <5EUR.
@dcz do you mean ISP providing native IPv6 or tunnel broker (IPv6 tunnel provider which can run on top of retail ipv4 broadband)?
@ruff Either is good, as long as it is physically close.
@dcz Ok, I'm using huricane tunnel service with PoP at Frankfurt https://www.tunnelbroker.net/status.php was using AMS before since FRA was overloaded. Latency is 20-30ms.
@ruff Thanks. Hurricane is not EU-based though, so it's out of the question.
@dcz ah so you need legal entity in EU? Their PoPs (end hence breakout) are definitely in EU.
@ruff Yeah, I'm not entrusting my traffic to a US-based company :)
@dcz If you don't use (or trust) encryption then yes, although I don't see much difference here between US, UK or DE based companies, my trust to them is comparable.
@dcz X1-X3 is series of protocols/interfaces which any EU telco operator must implement to provide LI (Lawful intercept or simple surveillance).
@ruff I think Snowden proved that the wild west in the USA is also used by beaurocrats. No need to share my stuff with both sides of the ocean.
I don't know what LI or X3 is.
