@greebus yes we have put a lot of effort into developing an app ecosystem that works on both mobile and desktop. You also have access to the entire repository of ARM Debian libraries and apps.

@wnymathguy thank you Michael, yes you are correct Librem doesn't require a Librem laptop. We wanted to offer a service everyone could use to protect their privacy irrespective of whether they use our hardware and this is why have Android and iOS Librem One clients.

@fazekmar @burek@linuxrocks.online @wnymathguy we are aware that various countries have VAT and other duty taxes and this is why we have discounted them substantially and offered free shipping - the total cost after taxes still offering a well priced privacy and security focused laptop.

@techzerker no plans at the moment. Open source drivers are less of an issue these days, especially for AMD, but binary blob firmware and hardware costs are the main issues.
