@hund@linuxrocks.online right now, Matrix tends to have issues with server connectivity, and electron apps suck.

IRC/XMPP gives me issues with encryption across my devices. Also, getting it all working across all devices has been somewhat promblematic, though WeeChat has reeeeeally helped me like it more.

— they asked me why I'm waiting until Nov to vote. I said, because I know who I'm voting for and they aren't on these ballots. They urged me to forget about those.candidates and just vote R or D. I told them that what they are doing is called electioneering and it will be reported.

A few moments later I hung up with the police only to have learned that what these people are doing is acceptable in the eyes of the law.

Now how's that for electioneering fun times?

I saw a sign today that says 'Vote Here!' I thought, wow! It's kind of early to be voting already. So I went in an talked to the ladies. Handed over my driver's license and began chatting.

Apparently this is early voting season. There's a caveat, however. You may only choose straight Dem tickets and straight Rep tickets. Nothing else. As it turns out, I am not voting for either. There is a Libertarian and an Independent running that I am voting for. So here's the kicker-
