:boost_ok: :ablobcatwave: Please boost this post if you would like the EFF to join the fediverse. :ablobcatbongo:

In a survey the EFF sent me, I suggested they create an account on the fediverse, so they can reach more supporters and support innovative free software that promotes interoperability among platforms, something they've advocated for in the past, too.

If you can boost this post, maybe I'll be able to show them that there are quite a few users who would like them here!

The EFF is the infamous nonprofit organisation that fights for privacy, government transparency, and digital freedom. Their fight is very important, and the EFF is very special to me. https://www.eff.org/about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_Frontier_Foundation

You can see some of their work here https://www.eff.org/work

In the meantime, you can follow @eff, which is an unofficial mirror of their Twitter.

@awai
Coming back to this i can hardly find any repos for this device, neither on mobian gitlab nor on postmarketos. Can you give me a hint?

Does anyone know of an alternative to the more on windows. I'm trying with and I'm really missing good old less.

@flyingpimonster Everithing has it's drawbacks. If your on a embedded system with limited hw, i guess your better of with a very small piece of stdlib.

@exalm@floss.social what a great explanation of everything. Especially given the fact, that you could and probably have other worries atm. 👍

Guter Artikel in der neu erschienenen Hauptstadt.be. Leicht zynisch, aber noch so, dass es verdaut werden kann.

@linmob so you gona have two then? Do you keep both?

@linmob @be @PINE64 or is meant to put the usb-c to a attached hub instead of the extra battery? Which probably would be ugly anyway...

@be maybe sounds crazy, but this actually prevents me from buying the keyboard. My primary goal of using mobile linux is getting more away from the s*** little display and my tortured back, to more use a real monitor and keyboard.

@tobtobxx Military is unnecessary, i agree. But if there has to be one, i think its better to be civil than 'professional'.

@dcz hm now that project seems to be quite fundamental 🤔👍

Anyone know of e-readers with usb-c ports?

@gnulinux Mit Dejadup einmal die Woche auf ne externe hdd. Ist das jetzt automatisch oder manuell?

@mobian i can confirm that, and it gave me the impression, my screen is broken 🙈
Thanks @Alexmitter for helping me out!

@fribbledom I'm trying alacrity for a week now and did so because it runs in Windows too. Basicaly for using nvim. Coming from gvim i still miss some features, but its still nice because...heck thats fast 😁
