Creo que dejaría de lado, al menos, una parte de la realidad. En mi opinión la realidad es que: OStatus no tiene mantenedor activo, la W3C recomienda ActivityPub como protocolo de federación, todos los proyectos con comunidad activa de desarrolladores priorizan ActivityPub y previsiblemente no habrá proyectos futuros que usen como base OStatus (con esto último no quiero decir que np vayan a darle soporte).

My advice: dump WhatsApp today and start using Wire (wire.com/en/products/personal-). Tell your friends and family to do the same. (It’s a simple, free download on all app stores. Easy to use, doesn’t require your phone number, and their business model is based on charging for commercial use and for pro accounts.)

I'm seeing this Firefox thing happening in Tor browser. Someone at Mozilla has fucked up bigtime and is exposing a lot of users to security problems. The fact that this is so centralized is also an architectural weakness.

A animal with a history of abuse will often flinch when a well-meaning new owner tries to pet it. It takes a lot of time and effort to rebuild trust and security.

The emotional damage in the community from decades of abuse by exploitative companies isn't acknowledged nearly enough, and is hard to overcome.
