@GrapheneOS I think banning #Aftermarket - #ROMS, espechally #GrapheneOS, is a hostile, anti-cobsumer act that should be prosecuted as there is no legitimate reason for it.
@kravietz
For the context, I was referring to this: https://spravy.pravda.sk/domace/clanok/738331-fico-zvolal-bezpecnostnu-radu-statu-poziadal-o-nu-pellegrini-do-nohy-sa-maju-dostavit-ministri-aj-vedenie-parlamentu/
The president denied introducing the statewide emergency that Fico requested (probably following the instructions from his KGB puppeteers).

The latter part is particularly funny 😂
@doskel

@kravietz
Is this what he tried to present as civil unrest to impose the state of emergency? 🤔
@kaia
Oh, I have this version with cleaner, even less flashy face — somewhat mitigates the whole "90s factor" and I think I've seen the metal version of the black ones which looked really cool, but… They weren't exactly expensive, but just having another DW-5600 certainly wasn't worth it.
@kaia
> 90s teen boy
Ha-ha-ha-ha! So true!
@kaia
Nothing beats 5600 IMO!
Besides, zoomers often can't into "round clock", which makes 5600 even more preferable 😅
They have full-metal version too and even something with "smart" features, but otherwise it's the same pure minimalism in digital watches.

Hey, it's just a normal battle slug!

On one hand Americans get outraged easily — before truly repressive stuff comes into force, and they are capable of organising, coordinating their efforts, unlike in well-established non-free regimes, where people trust no one and often hate each other. On the other — the polarisation and atomisation of society we see in the US nowadays indeed looks alarming. But I remain hopeful: if this doesn't kill their democracy, it'll make it stronger. But yeah… time of turbulence.
Fresh new start : 2025.
A few pictures of the opensource/remake project I'm working on📀, I get inspiration from ghibli universes, old multiplayer games🪡, enterprises from the cooperative world🍓
I hope to meet great people,
here this year! 🦤🦎🐜

@santiago
> clearly one looks like a government thing and the other one like a personal page
True — it's does not prove anything, but knowing a thing or two about "charismatic leaders" with autocratic tendencies 😏, I'd say: when it looks personal like that — it's a marker of certain political technologies being involved, better keep the eyes peeled!
At least US isn't Russia, it's a mature democracy with proper system of checks and balances and established democratic institutions.
@santiago
> No need for many to be exposed to many Russian disinformation
I'm the last person on Earth to believe Russian state media, but in this particular case — indeed, I don't think they had anything to do with it, maybe only indirectly, but their attempt to give the story a spin for me is a sure sign that something isn't right here 😁
