Look who's there — Russia, a vocal critic of "US imperialism", and China! Their revenues is in the same ballpark than that of US companies. Did US do it for the right of Chinese companies to work there? Makes no sense!

@iska Then I can't recommend anything, I'm not such a big fan of ThinkPads' keyboards, nor am I allergic to MacBook ones — and pretty much every modern laptop keyboard is an iteration of it. I don't really like the way HP does it, but I can use even that 🤷

There are bug-poison evaporators that use standard-size rechargeable batteries so you can enjoy your bug poison while the other set is charging, some of them even have freelibre firmware… I think 🤔
The bug poison itself can remain proprietary or otherwise — there is usually nothing in there that you can't replace with readily-available ingredients — except proportions.

Sadly, The Insider has already fixed the headline for their article about it, the original one was something like: "Apple explained the removal of VPN and independent media apps from the App Store with adhering to the democratic principles" 🤣
It's not word-for-word of course, but aiding democratic principles was in Apple representative's reply.
My reaction, seeing this come up in my RSS reader was: WHA-A-AT?!!! 🤯
