I'd start questioning his sanity if he ever does this 😅
@romin
I'm sometimes using this machine as an access point for 802.11b devices and with Plan 9 that probably won't work — certainly not with Broadcom adapter it has.
Besides, it runs nicely with 6.1 right now, it has Go 1.10 (gccgo of course) and I've even built BloatFE with it — with some fixes it even works, and I've built rustc 1.75 for it that works reliably — I don't want to mess with it much anymore TBH, as it would involve building newer clang and it's always broken on PowerPC nowadays 😩
@romin
I'll probably make an attempt to build 6.12 for PowerPC… or not — it's probably buggy so what's the point 🤔

@PurpCat
My T43 doesn't exactly look too battered, but yours looks almost brand new 🤩

Yep, it doesn't make any sense with smaller screen size, but when you have more screen real estate you either have to raise your mouse often to get to the other corner or you have to increase sensitivity and they you have to aim hard for smaller UI elements — both are even more annoying.
I'm not into mouse acceleration myself, but in some cases it's just a nice compromise.
@Tony
Having vodka when everyone's drinking beer? Bold move! 🥴
@nyanide
It's not so bad when you have more than one 30" or bigger display and you want your mouse pad to last more than a year 😂
In games it's horrible of course.

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
