Yeah, GOG release also comes with a cdkey file, but I think it's the same for everyone. Original Quake 3 servers were supposed to check it, but to my knowledge no server does this check anymore.

It's just expanded CTF with huge maps that was originally sold as a mission pack, it's okay, but I don't think it was ever popular. In any case, you can use that too with any alternative engine such as ioquake3 or Quake3e, they see the .pk3 files in the "missionpack" subdirectory and allow you to switch to it from the main menu.

Good, this one's quite usable!
As for original Quake 3 binaries — I think they only include them for archival purposes at this point, AFAIR those targeted OpenGL 1.3 and can be quite buggy on modern hardware. Grab Quake3e — it even has Vulkan renderer, I don't think you will have this issue with it, basically, you only need .pk3 files from the Steam game. There is also a CD key, but I think it's generic for all Steam players.

I'm not sure what wide-screen is at this point, my displays are 2560x1600 which I believe isn't wide enough by modern standards 🤪
But you probably shouldn't be using the default Quake 3 engine anyway, check out Quake3e: https://github.com/ec-/Quake3e
Which itself is a fork of ioquake3. I think it supports any resolution you can throw at it.
Remaster of original Quake should support it as well, but I'm not sure it came with your bundle, try QuakeSpasm if not.
@teajaygrey
Oh, don't worry, it was more of a joke 😅
But if I were accurate, I think it was called Digital Unix at the time,I might still have some of its manuals on the bookshelves, it was renamed to Tru64 in the late nineties, some time circa 1998 IIRC

It was over a decade ago — and they were probably already not in their peak, but when it's a live show it's still enjoyable.
> do you like stoppenberg?
No, should I? The closest I listen to industrial/ebm nowadays are old Puppy records, Download… all that.

Not a fan of Combichrist, but a colleague of mine even took me to their show once — she was more or less a fan, it was pretty good! 🤘
@joesticker
The industrial and agricultural capacities were much probably much higher in the days of USSR's demise, especially when it comes to everything but commodities/raw materials, the population was probably healthier and better educated, it was an emerging market, attractive to companies from all around the world, now it's saturated with Chinese products — all in all, I think it's much worse now.

Everywhere I go I get asked to turn it down
I'll tell you: "Hell no!"— to your face, I ain't a coward
And if you keep trippin' I'm a turn it up LOUDER
I don't give a damn about your quiet or your peace
The only time I turn it down is when I see police

Also only use open headphones in the office — no exceptions 😏

These HP keyboards are surprisingly decent for a membrane keyboard. I used to have quite a stash of them and let my friends borrow them when their mechanical keyboards were breaking down. I think I still have 3 or so left, lol 😂
