@kevinrothrock
As an avid sports non-enjoyer, I'm quite happy they are ignoring the whole thing this time — what saddens me is that they are likely to be pushing something else to switch people's attention away. Will they double down on making up imaginary successes on the frontline? 😩
@Pchela121 @rayslava
И ничего не тормозуха, а самый обычный вермут — разливной из бочки на колёсиках 🥴
@newt I hate both even as a pedestrian 😅
@romin
Damn, I decided to drop this show, but every time I see your screenshots of it, I'm doubting my resolve and think of picking it up again
Ars Technica is looking for a reporter to cover Google: https://arstechnica.com/staff/2024/07/ars-is-seeking-a-seasoned-senior-reporter-for-all-things-google/
@misty
Should I apply? 😈
No, I don't think they'd deem this amount of violent thoughts acceptable — were I ever be covering things Google, there sure'd be plenty 😇
@ThatCrazyDude True — different kinds are more common in different parts of the world, the one we have here is purple-ish even 🤪
@ThatCrazyDude Isn't it supposed to have dark leaves or is it a different kind? 🤔
@romin
Computers that are good do not exist, they can't aid you. Stop making things up! 😤
@newt
No! 😤
I'm switching to Redox as soon as it gets 32-bit PowerPC support: I don't want Rust in my kernel, I want my whole kernel to be in Rust! 🤪
@angiebaby
I still can't believe that it's not a prank carried out by someone — their actions led to a serious downtime for businesses, compensating for it with a $10 gift card looks too much like: "Sorry guys, you have to work on weekend, but hey — you can have free pizza 😏"
Remember when Google were introducing their Privacy Sandbox, one of the claims was that it would help them phase out tracking via third-party cookies? Under this premise they've made others (Yes, Mozilla, I'm looking at you!) adopt the same approach…
Guess what? They won't be: https://tech.slashdot.org/story/24/07/22/2055228/google-wont-be-deprecating-third-party-cookies-in-chrome-after-all
Most probably to avoid lawsuits in EU — as new tracking technology is solely controled by them.
So you get the new "privacy preserving" tracking AND the old one! 😂
This company is pure evil!

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
