@markreel
Hey, you have a cat nest on your head! 😹
@thatguyoverthere @fribbledom
I've seen wall switches with such a mode decades ago: it just turned the lights on once in a few hours for random period of time. Neat trick, but I think they are aware of this already and if they have spotters, those probably pay more attention to actual people coming and going than lights, and if they are amateurs — it probably won't stop them anyway 😄
@millihertz
Thank you! Wasn't familiar with the term 😅
@millihertz
What's LB in this context? Lithium batteries? 🤔
@isaactly_s
OMG, such a beauty! 😻
@galaxydinodragon All of them on different computers for different purposes, but most of my computers run Void Linux these days.
@Baggypants @fribbledom
TBH I don't think my parents did me good when they taught me that skill, I wish I could worry less about insignificant things like that. But of course it has good sides too 😁
@Baggypants @fribbledom
Yep, probably I'm just a boring person. Who can even shut power completely off when leaving for extended periods 😅
@Tony I hope they aren't! It would be horrible for birbs to be real 🙀
@ThatCrazyDude Typical for countries where people live in extreme poverty I think. I wonder what it would be for Russia, but probably something similar. Utilities being more expensive because of climate might make a difference, but otherwise should be pretty close to that.
@aral
Maybe there is a new Biden in town — we just don't know that yet 😂
@creamqueen
But you're already a ghost… of Fedi — I mean if you can't interact with anyone 😀
@JakeeMan
What language was this originally in? That "6" looks like a pun on popular Russian supermarket chain 😹
@fribbledom
> you get the ability to control your lights while away from home using their mobile app
Is it only me who finds this funny? Why would I want to control lights away from home, to give my cats a scare? 🤪
I mean, you might have cameras installed which might be not infrared and in this case you might want to control lights too, but it seems to me to be a very narrow corner case.
@biarine
Cats can sit on anything. One of the cats I've had could sit on top of an open book while I've been holding it and reading. And it wasn't a particularly thick book. Why? Who knows — cats 😹
@theteapixie
Manual of my washing machine explicitly states that I should check for small animals before closing the door 😸
@yukiame
Oh, man! Why is this so funny? Every time I find it reposted on my page, I have a good laugh 😹
@SirRichard
Me too! We can be proud of ourselves 😎
