@SuperDicq
%UserProfile% instead of ${HOME} is platform-specific code already 😁
AFAIK even Microsoft's own ssh honors .ssh in the home dir and not in the AppData — so no one wants that.
Also, I think dot-names are hidden in Windows Explorer, at least in Windows 10 they are, it's just that hidden files are set to be shown on the screenshot, AppData itself should be hidden and yet we see it.

DOS also have the VER command, but I'm not sure if it's possible to parse the output of it, I'm not even sure there were standard input and output, there was CON special device name, but AFAIR it's slightly different. I remember there was an %ERRORLEVEL% environment var similar to UNIX exit codes, but not much else😅
@leah
@fateCEO I wonder if there's a Full HD remaster of Ichigo Mashimarou? 🤔

Is it already a thing? Da-a-amn! 🤯
@iska Pretty high I think, white noise is specially generated to cover full spectrum and have equal intensity, random static isn't and of course something like melody can occur. Not sure about harmony though 😅
@MichiruMichiMi
Of course you can! There are solar panels and low-powered ARM-netbooks and LoRa… But you're right — better don't. I'm a little worried about that moose 😉

@lowqualityfacts
Now that I think about it, my cats could probably get a job at a cat cafe 😼
@kirby
@MichiruMichiMi
Ban them, ban everyone, quit Discord, stop using computers, move to a cabin in the woods, eat the moose alive… That should probably be enough to stop being nice 😅
@charlie_root
There was this guy, who was into such stuff — KJ Sawka, he was both a drummer and a D'n'B artist and he used to be good. I don't even know what he's up to these days 😁

Oh, people! For fuck's sake, come on! 🤯
@Andylikesguitars I think both Deezer and Tidal pay artists more than Spotify and both have better sounding options, which is always nice if you've into jazz, both should have family plans — I haven't used either, streaming just isn't for me, but I've heard good things about both. BandCamp is still the best option from artists' perspective and it's a great platform to buy from them directly, including on physical media. Not much in the jazz department though, contemporary's there, but no oldies.
@gemlog 🤣
I don't think it was intentional, I've taken a look at how other instances use them and most use Dedupe and AnonymizeFilename in conjunction — they work just fine that way, but if that was the intended use case, why didn't they merge them? 🤷
Anyway I've fixed mine with a one-liner — not a proper fix and it might interfere with other filters so I won't submit it, but it works just fine in my configuration.
@safiuddinkhan
I'm pretty sure it's not something THAT complex for that dude, but at least it's not "My soundcard doesn't work, gimme-gimme-gimme" 😅

@safiuddinkhan
I think you went too hard on this dude. I didn't even realize that sleep/suspend is still a delicate matter in Linux til I got Void running on this old ARM netbook. It goes to sleep, but wakes up immediately after that, something doesn't get brought down properly, but I know it's in the kernel because when I boot kernel 5.x with the same system it works — it worked, but got broken somewhere.

@oku_yama_old
Thus the uploaded file retains its original name 🤷
There's also the Dedupe filter — it updates the "path" field and doesn't care about "name" so it works.
Ironically, the only thing that checks the "name" field are tests, so from test's perspective the filter works just fine, neither the file name in the real file system, not the resulting URL are checked 😂
#Pleroma has AnonymizeFilename filter. Does anyone use it with Local uploader?
It doesn't seem to work for me. It updates the "name" field of "upload" struct, but that field is only used twice in the code: together with "id" it's assigned to "path" field, but that is done BEFORE upload filters are applied and later to fill the description field, which I don't care about.
As "path" field gets assigned before even running that filter, that is what is used to store the file in the file system.

Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
