@psychictides I was once subscribed to NY RoB — not for long, maybe for a year, it was some promo from London Review of Books — these still send me some promo materials, but I can't even pay for discounted subscription now 😔
I like the bookmarks they put into every envelope, they are different every time, I think I have a collection of those already.
@thor Imagine everyone being weird the same way! We could have a word for that… How about "normal"? 😁
@oku_yama_old
Я вчера отвлёкся и так и не понял какой тред надо посмотреть? 🤔
@StaleDonut At least it's not wheat supremacism!
@theorytoe
@metallcorn
С комфортом? 🤔
@Rezard
Finally, I have found a challenge worthy of mah here bwoi!
Ta-da!
🎊 Old Computer Challenge🎉

https://occ.deadnet.se/
And guess what? I don't even have to limit it much to fit the requirements — it's so naturally slow!
The only thing I'm not sure about is lowest possible frequency — at 600Mhz even Amfora would probably be unusable 🤣
@oku_yama_old
Зато лазером! Как и обещал.

Можно буде смотреть порно только с синей Галочкой? 😏
@neural_meduza
@panther_btw
Но ведь там грибы с глазами, это так футуристично 🤪
@neural_meduza
@neural_meduza Честно? Вот не сразу даже понял, настоящая это Медуза или нейронка? 🤣
@RustyCrab
@Inginsub @gray Why expose those who don't have Google garbage built into their OS/browser? 🤔
iOS users are actually kinda cool, they don't even have to jump through extra hoops to disable this shit like I have to — that is great out of the box experience!
Why don't we post some JPEG XLs instead to piss off Chrome scum? 😏

@newt
What a week, huh?
And it is in fact not Wednesday this time 😁
@pyrate
> Firefox ver 6
Stopped using it around version 3 — it became too bloated 🤣
Started using something WebKit-based on my Linux machines to have experience close to what I had with Safari on my Mac — most probably Midori, it had an adblock addon written in C, but that supported ABP's lists — it was blazing fast.

> My first thought for Decemberists for example came from the USA state of Oregon
Ha-ha-ha-ha! I actually though about that: maybe I should note that I'm not referring to the band, but won't that be rude? 🤔
And yes, sorry, sometimes you sound so well-versed in current state of Russian affairs that I get carried away and speak as if you know the same things I do which can't always be true 😆
@m0xEE @anniemo71
@greentext
My thoughts exactly every time I read this "be me". Hell no, I don't want that 🤣
@re9177 To deez nuts? 🤔
@jeff Sorry, I have probably digressed from your original thought — it's just another thread I'm partaking in and I'm lumping several problems together without realizing it 😅
@jeff You're right though, the solution is not even being explored. The concept of having a clear enemy is so easy to grasp that everyone uses it to sway people — and people are just getting caught in the moment, bashing some other group that often has zero to do with their problems. Shit — even I get caught into that sometimes. Always asking yourself "Does this really make my life any better?" is hard and the answer is often unpleasant, so most just don't do that.
@jeff
> all activism is state sponsored
Correct, but this wasn't my point. Not everyone is being paid directly to do stupid shit — that's just not cost effective. Paying to those who can convince a lot of people to do stupid shit — now we're playing!
A lot of people are deceived into believing total garbage: okay, what I do might look like stupid shit — but I'm doing it for a good cause, I'm a good person, right?
No, you are not — just take a step back and look at that, it's still stupid shit🤷♀️
None
Just in case: DMs/PMs simply don't exist on this instance as concept — don't use them, use the other instance if you absolutely have to, or send an email to any address at m0xEE.Net or .Com or .Org, but I prefer keep most communication public.
