I was surprised seeing Sarah Silverman in that. I'm not familiar with her solo material, but I remember her back from Mr.Show with Bob and David days. Decades passed since then, David Cross and Bob Odenkirk both look like old men now and she still looks like thirty something 😁

@moffintosh Looks like I got them fixed by going to ntfy and deleting the Universal Push subscription, relaunched the app, went to preferences or something. It recreated the subscription and now it works as expected.
Good, as Husky I've been using as a replacement was draining battery fast. Instead of getting 4-5 days of battery life I started getting only 2, and the phone ran hot at 50°C

Classes of course, lots of them. That inherit from other classes. It got so complex that I just gave up without implementing things that would be easy to implement. Like "Come on this thing is just sitting on top of cabinet in my home",— I said to myself: "Stop handling all the corner cases, they do not exist, no one is going to use this thing other than you!", but no… 🤣

Too much abstraction is a true plague. I made a script that shows a scrolling line of text on my monome — just some currency exchange rates, but then I started to think about how I could add more modes to it, make it interactive, use it to show graphs, or information from other sources like weather or COVID hospitalization rates, with as few requests as possible, so it would update less frequently during night time or weekends.

@gordoooo_z PowerPC Macs are the best! I still have my G5 tower, it's mostly useless now — I only turn it on to update software a bit and tinker, but I still like this computer. It dual boots Void Linux and Mac OS X (in case I'm up to some old Mac games) now.
And MacMini G4 also running PowerPC port of Void hosts my Pleroma instance and some other stuff.

@benjaminhollon No, I got you. True, sometimes it's the only way. I think all wars happen because some bad things and people get tolerated for too long and then all hell breaks loose. I agree, some conflicts don't have peaceful resolution. Right now I'm not on my country's side because I know that giving in and appeasement will only postpone even worse outcomes.

This war is far from being just. I was against it in 2014 and I'm still against it. The civil society in Russia failed to keep the state in check and now we face the consequences of that. It's appalling that innocent Ukrainians have to share it with us.
And it's hard to tell what the future holds even after it's over, TBH it all looks pretty bleak at the moment. First COVID, now this… Tinkering with tech helps overcome the anxiety a little 😄@RL_Dane @gordoooo_z
