I've built tut and gomuks for Windows 11 Arm64, gomuks even has cryptography support as I've built libolm too. Both work horribly in Windows Terminal.
Thoughts on what I did all that for: none 🫠

I'm good at Python and I like it a lot, but I still do a lot of stuff as shell scripts. It only seems to work when you decide on which tools to use from the get go.

I liked 8.0 even more and release preview of it was simply the best! I was a Mac guy at the time and it even made me get into MS and their ecosystem. Apple's visual design was showing signs of decline, but Windows 8 was so fresh, I was like: "Wow! At last they've got rid of the abomination that is Start menu and replaced it with a launcher with huge buttons!" I really miss live tiles 😩

@futzle I used to drink cold tea a lot when I was younger. Not iced tea or something, just normal tea that's cold. I've had two huge cups, well above liter, that I used to make tea only to drink it a couple of hours later.
It took me time to get used to drinking it hot 😂

@sim BTW this is what Industrial Society and Its Future is about. It's not completely unfounded, but I don't think that many of us would benefit from moving to a cabin in the woods and hunting wild boars 😅
Taking a step back in order to find proper balance might be a good idea though.

@sim Yep, it's not some evil government plot, it's just the way society works at this point. The more specialized and good at certain something you become, the more reliant on others to do other things you get. Without this we'd never be able to manufacture a lot of very complex things we use everyday now. Would it be better if scientists were chasing thugs down the street? I think not, but certain level of autonomy might be important for psychological well-being.

Watching The Terminal List made me want to rewatch both Sicario movies. And I still think I like the second one more than Villeneuve's. Yeah, the drama, but it's an action movie anyway and I still prefer drama in the second one: at least we see betrayal, doubts about doing what's right… First movie is just CIA being dicks — which they of course are 🤷
